Anthony Gaughan
Teacher-Trainer
Hello! This is my story.
Anthony is a freelance Teacher-Trainer based in Germany. He started teaching in 1995 and since then has worked in the private ELT sector in the UK, Germany and Poland as well as in UK state secondary schools. He is currently a Cambridge CELTA Assessor and CELTA Main Course Tutor as well as a DELTA M2 Tutor and also teaches on Trinity DipTESOL programmes; he has also been a Speaking Examiner for a range of Cambridge English exams. Anthony has been a regular volunteer for his local teachers' association in Germany, ELTABB, and is a former Co-ordinator of TDSIG, the Teacher Development Special Interest Group within IATEFL. He is especially interested in applying Dogme ELT and other minimalist approaches to teacher education and language teaching, and he occasionally writes about this and other things related to ELT and teacher-training on
