She has over ten years experience of teaching English. She graduated the University of Letters, Babeș-Bolyai from Cluj-Napoca in 2008. Irina has completed International House Certificate in Teaching Young Learners and Teenagers (IHCYLT) and International House Certificate in Teaching English (IHC) and the Teacher Trainer online course.
Irina loves working with children and being part of their learning process. At the same time she believes that teaching is an ability that can be acquired with dedication and responsibility. “If you are to do something, do it right” is her motto.

Practical Ideas for Teaching Younger Learners: Insights from the IH CYLT Course
During the session, we will explore different ways in which different elements of the course, including input sessions, observations and reflection tasks, help teachers to develop their confidence and skills with younger learners. The session will include various activities from different course sessions and there will be lots of practical ideas to take away and use with your own classes.

Jennifer is from England and started teaching in 2001. She spent ten years in Russia, six years in Portugal and is currently based in England. She has been with International House since 2005 and has worked as a teacher, teacher trainer, academic manager and materials writer. She specialises in teaching younger learners and very young learners and has been working as a teacher trainer for IH Bucharest since 2013.
