Úna Ní Chaoilte
graduated in Finance, Computing and Enterprise from Dublin City University (Ireland) in 2001. Two years later she earned the ACELS Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults from Dublin School of English, and her subsequent teaching career took her first to Hungary and then to Giga International House (IH) Catania, Italy. In 2005 she was promoted to Assistant Director of Studies at the latter school, in 2009 she became a qualified Cambridge Speaking Examiner, and in 2012 she completed her DELTA at the British Council and IH London. After further preparation as a CELTA trainer at Giga IH Catania in 2013, she specialised in teacher training and since 2014 she has run CELTA courses in Italy, Ireland, Saudi Arabia, Algeria and the United Arab Emirates, at schools as reputable as IH Galway or the Eton Institute. Today a freelance trainer of both CELTA trainees and Cambridge Speaking Examiners, Úna has reached full professional maturity and feels highly motivated to help her trainees achieve their professional development goals.
