In this workshop, we will discuss why keeping it simple not only makes teaching online easier, but is also more likely to enhance learning. We will then exchange practical ideas of activities, tools and approaches which help students improve their language skills while not requiring tutors to reinvent the wheel or become IT experts.

Estelle Hélouin’s Bio

Estelle is a language teacher, teacher trainer and educational mentor with a passion for learning and languages.

She regularly delivers teaching workshops to teachers of languages as well as other subjects, both face-to-face and online. Having initially trained as a language teacher to adult learners in England, she favours the practical and interactive Anglo-Saxon approach to learning, which she has continued to apply to all subjects, as she later trained as a teacher trainer and a mentor.

She particularly enjoys developing resources and strategies to help learners and tutors improve their skills, according to their needs and interests.
