CELTA: The Heart of Teaching Where Passion Meets Purpose 2
Inspire others in the classroom and beyond with CELTA.
Cambridge University Press & Assessment and International House Bucharest have the pleasure to invite current or aspiring teachers of English as a foreign language to attend this online event dedicated to discovering the benefits of holding a CELTA qualification.
By attending this event, participants will learn about the benefits of pursuing CELTA qualifications and how they can help them reach the peak of their English teaching career. Participants will also have the opportunity to network with other professionals in the field and get their questions answered by experienced CELTA Tutors.
The event will take place on Zoom, on 04th of April, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

Tim has worked in ELT for many years in a variety of roles, as a teacher, teacher trainer, academic manager, materials writer and business manager. He has been the Global Manager – Teacher Development for Cambridge since 2013, and is responsible for the Cambridge Teaching Qualifications, including CELTA and DELTA.

Elena Bran
Elena is a senior teacher of English, mentor and CELTA tutor, holding both a Ph.D. in literature and the DELTA qualification. Over the last 17 years, she has taught a variety of Cambridge exam preparation classes, business English classes and ESP medical English university courses and seminars. Throughout her career, she has experienced different teaching approaches and has manifested an active interest in exploring lots of course designs, teaching practice delivery or ways to make lessons more engaging for the students and the teachers. She is also passionate about school psychology and developmental psychology.

- Join Kelci de Haas, a language instructor at Izmir University of Economics, for an engaging and practical webinar on optimizing classroom materials. - With extensive experience in teacher training, she has worked as a CELTA tutor, senior teacher at International House, and course coordinator, teaching and training in Peru, Türkiye, and Romania. Currently, she is leading the transition to flipped learning at her university, ensuring innovative and effective teaching practices.
